Westmead Hospital

The Westmead Hospital Redevelopment is a critical infrastructure project aimed at expanding and modernising one of Sydney’s largest and most important healthcare facilities. As part of this transformation, MAK was entrusted with the delivery of key concrete works which improved the public amenity of the hospital.

MAK’s work involved the construction of complex concrete structures and surfaces that support essential hospital routes such as ambulance bays, public access areas and emergency routes and upgrade of the hospital’s public domain and visitor areas.

Given the hospital’s operational nature, safety is a top priority, with all work adhering to stringent Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) protocols. The company’s expertise ensures the delivery of precise, durable, and sustainable concrete works in this critical healthcare setting.
