Description
MAK had been commissioned by the Blue Mountains City Council to undertake significant construction works at the renowned Pulpit Rock Lookout, a prime tourist destination within the Blue Mountains National Park. The project focused on enhancing visitor accessibility, safety, and overall experience by constructing key infrastructure, including a large-scale carpark, seating areas, a major bio retention basin, a walking track, and a new lookout.
Upon completion, the Pulpit Rock Lookout provided enhanced infrastructure that aligned with the Blue Mountains City Council's goals of promoting tourism while preserving the natural beauty of the area. The improved access and amenities supported both local and international visitors, contributing to the region's sustainable tourism growth.
