Description
The M5 Linear Parks Upgrade was an essential infrastructure project aimed at revitalising the green spaces and parklands that ran alongside the M5 Motorway. This project was designed to enhance the accessibility, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of these public spaces for local communities, promoting outdoor recreation and improving environmental sustainability along the M5 corridor.
MAK was contracted to carry out civil works, ensuring high-quality delivery of all concrete works, including major concrete elements. This project was particularly challenging due to careful adherence to environmental protocols to protect local ecosystems. However, through MAK’s effective and sustainable construction practices, the project was delivered to the highest degree in all aspects.
The upgraded parks offered a greener, safer, and more welcoming space for the public, contributing to improved health, well-being, and community connections.
