Description

This project encompassed the demolition and reconstruction of two structurally compromised bridges, the Lizard and Unnamed Bridges, for Singleton Council. Throughout the project, MAK had assessed and prioritised environmental and safety compliance, adhering to all relevant regulations, Singleton Council’s specifications, and strict Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) protocols to safeguard workers and the local community. Maintaining local access to residential premises via construction of temporary roads for the duration of the works.

One of the primary challenges had been maintaining environmental compliance, especially as the project involved working inside sensitive waterways.
